Normally we don’t spend all our time with Xbox 360 employing its hard drive, playing Xbox Live Arcade games, but this month we’re making serious exception. Maybe you missed us last week when we told you about the Summer’s End XBLA blowout taking place, dubbed the “Summer of Arcade“? Either way, our weekend will assuredly be filled with terrifying geometric shapes and time-reversal gameplay (with reviews of both coming early next week) — how about you? And so this week we must say goodbye to the CAGcast as they move weekly podcasts to Mondays, which means we’ll likely see more from them next week. For fear of oversaturating the podcast lineup with 1UP.com products, we’ve not added 1UP FM this week (though we’d highly suggest checking it out) — it’s nice to see (and hear) new blood in Ziff’s staff dossier. You’ll excuse us if we’re a bit out of it but Geometry Wars 2 has really cut into our normal sleep schedule. We’ll return next week rejuvenized, carrying two large sacks of reviews. Promise!
