We were nearly sold on Platinum Games’ upcoming beat ‘em up brutalizer Mad World from the description alone: Frank Miller-style animation meets classic brawler meets The Running Man. Our excitement level grew exponentially after getting a preview back at E3 from the folks at Sega. And after seeing the new trailer released at the Leipzig Games Convention (taking place in Germany as this is being written), we’re reaching a fever pitch.
Featuring a few boss fights (something we’ve never seen before) in addition to a whole mess of new environments, the new trailer has us wishing we’d get some hands-on time with the game already. Maybe Sega will go all the way crazy and have a playable demo at TGS? We’ll have to wait and see unfortunately. For now, we can all enjoy the video above.
