Quantum of Solace Screens Emerge Into Daylight, See Shadow
July 1st, 2008 News, Previews

So we know a few things about the upcoming James Bond tie-in game being developed by Treyarch, Quantum of Solace: the game’s undoubtedly releasing this November alongside its movie namesake, there’s a team at Treyarch devoted to development of QoS using the Call of Duty 4 engine, and the screens look like there’s clearly some road still ahead. We have a full gallery for you after the break, though no other shots are as daring as the one you see above.

We can’t help but be excited for a Bond game set in the CoD4 engine, can you? Though the facial animations (at least from these shots) look a little under par, gameplay seems to resemble something between Goldeneye 007 for N64 (maybe it’s just seeing the Silenced PP7 in action?) and Perfect Dark: Zero meets Call of Duty. Normally, this would be the point where we say “And we’ll have more for you after E3 in just a few weeks!” but as you may have heard, Activision (the game’s publisher) won’t be attending. We’ll have to keep our eyes peeled for more info, just like you. The best we can say for sure in the meantime is stay tuned.
